A Donor’s Perspective

“When I can donate to a nonprofit organization, I typically support those that provide services to our military or veterans. While PORCH’s overall mission is to advocate for the development for safe, affordable housing for all at risk populations in our community it was the fundraising for their Scott Street housing project for veteran families that caught my interest. PORCH provides the housing a family may need for that “hand-up” and not a “hand-out”, and they have the resources and tools to help them get back on their feet and become whole again. Having been a Marine, I know just how important these things can be.”
